Mary Tait, Inc. creates couture fabric design applications, primarily finished curtains, for a broad range of residential interiors and commercial space projects.
Our curtain, slipcover, bedding, pillows, and fabrications for designers such as Holden & Dupuy, Gerrie Bremmerman, Lee Ledbetter, Ralph Harvard, Marjorie Sushan and Rosemary James has been extensively published in magazine publications including Architectural Digest, Southern Accents, Metropolitan Home, Traditional Home and New Orleans And Lifestyles.
Our work also appears in several books of note, including "Design with Fabric, The Creative Touch" by Carol Soucek King, "The Majesty of St. Charles Avenue" by Cynthia and Kerrie McCaffey, and "Slip Covers" a House Beautiful Great Styles Series.
Mary has created exciting curtains for such famous locations as Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico's Restaurant and for motion picture sets such as Neil Jordan's 1994 "Interview With The Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles".
Working directly with designers and architects, Mary Tait, Inc. exemplifies the art of the master draper to produce sumptuous and unique fabric treatments built by hand. From our foundation in the old world artisanship of New Orleans interiors, our design language is rooted in the classic French style while embellishing the contemporary lifestyle.
Mary Tait, Inc. is located in Eureka Springs, Arkansas where we work on projects throughout North America.
